i miss being a music geek
listening to bach's "orch. suite no 2" is definitely not something i'd recommend for night-time listening - its so chipper and dancing fairies, early-morning ish - it'll keep u awake.
also not good for night-time listening:
-stravinsky's "rite of spring" (when it debuted, flocks of people actually fled the opera house screaming and in shock because it was so disturbing..and i've actually woken up at night when it has come onto my ipod's playlist when i'm trying to fall asleep - its that tense)
-orff's "carmina burina", 'O Fortuna' movement - really creepy, but now ruined by bad horror movies
-grieg's "in the hall of the mountain king" - very 'someone's following you'ish
anyone have anything to add, classical or non?
